The Swedish Cup (Swedish: Svenska cupen) is the national soccer cup tournament in Sweden. Launched in 1941, it is organized by the Swedish Football Association, and the winner is awarded the Gustaf VI Adolf Cup, and a place in the UEFA Europa League (before 1999 in the UEFA European Cup Winner's Cup). The tournament was on a long-lasting break between 1954 and 1966.
