Sokratis Papastathopoulos (born 9 June 1988) is a Greek footballer who last played as a centre back for Premier League club Arsenal and is the captain of the Greek national team. Since the surname Papastathopoulos cannot fit on his club shirt, his first name Sokratis is usually displayed instead; however, a common nickname for him is Papa.
