Senzo Robert Meyiwa (24 September 1987 – 26 October 2014) was a former professional goalkeeper who played for South African team Orlando Pirates and was a member of the South Africa national football team. He was scouted by the club on a young age and successfully completed the youth academy by moving to the first team of the club in the season 2005-2006. In 2007 he was the first choice as goalkeeper at the club. However he had to face concurrention in the next season with another goalkeeper. When the first choice at that moment got an injury in a match he made his comeback. In 2013 he carried his team to the finals of the African Champions League making very important saves for the club but losing against Egyptian opponents Al Ahly 1-3 on aggregate.
