Philip Walter Foden (born 28 May 2000) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Premier League club Manchester City and the English National Team. He can also play as a winger or a centre forward.
After he won the FIFA U-17 World Cup Golden Ball award in 2017, Foden received significant media coverage.
On 17 December 2017, Foden was named the BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year.
