Paolo Cesare Maldini (born 26 June 1968) is an Italian former professional footballer. He is currently the technical director of his former club AC Milan. He is also a co-owner of American club Miami FC.
As a player, Maldini played as a defender. He spent his whole career at boyhood club AC Milan, making a total of 647 appearances over 25 years at the club, scoring 29 goals. He also earned 126 international caps for the Italy national team, scoring 7 goals. He eventually retired from football in 2009.
