Nils Ola Toivonen (born 3 July 1986) is a Swedish professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder or striker for Malmö FF.
After beginning his career in his homeland, he joined PSV Eindhoven in January 2009, and remained there for five-and-a-half seasons until a €2.5 million move to Rennes.
A full international for Sweden since 2007, he has earned 64 caps for the nation, and was part of their squad for UEFA Euro 2012 and the 2018 FIFA World Cup. After the FIFA World Cup campaign in 2018, he retired from international duties.
