Nemzeti Bajnokság II (English: National Championship II), currently known as the Merkantil Bank Liga for sponsorship reasons, is the second tier of football in Hungary.
20 teams compete in the division, with the top two teams at the end of the season gaining promotion to Nemzeti Bajnokság I and the bottom three being relegated to Nemzeti Bajnokság III.
In 2005, the division was changed from one overall division to two regional divisions, Keleti (Eastern) and Nyugati (Western), both with 16 teams. In 2013, the format was changed back to one division with 16 teams. This changed to the current 20-team format from 2015.
The division's most successful club is MTK Budapest who have won the division three times.
