Livingston Football Club are a professional football club based in Livingston, West Lothian. The club was founded in 1943 under the name Ferranti Thistle which was later renamed Meadowbank Thistle but when the club was relocated to Livingston, West Lothian the name was changed for a third time to Livingston. The club has faced admininistration issues in recent times involving being placed down the leagues similary to Rangers.
