Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (born 12 February 2001), also known as Kvara, is a Georgian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Serie A club Napoli and the Georgia national team.
Born in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi, Kvaratskhelia began his football career at Dinamo Tbilisi, and made a debut with the club when he was 16 years old. He joined Rustavi a year later for a transfer fee of €180k. In 2019, he was sent to Russia on loan, where he joined Lokomotiv Moscow, before signing a permanent contract with Rubin Kazan.
In 2022, due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, FIFA allowed foreign players in Russia to unilaterally suspend contract with their clubs, and they are also allowed to join clubs outside Russia. Kvaratskhelia was one of Russian Premier League players who use this option, and came to his home country to join Dinamo Batumi. In the next season, he joined Italian side Napoli on a five-year contract for €10–12 million. During his first month with Napoli, Kvaratskelia made a breakthrough, where he scored 3 goals in the two opening matches, earning him Serie A Player of The Month in August 2022.
