Kevin Joseph Campbell (4 February 1970 – 15 June 2024) was an English former professional footballer. Campbell, who played as a striker, featured in the Premier League for Arsenal, Nottingham Forest, Everton and West Bromwich Albion. Campbell also had a stint in Turkey with Trabzonspor, as well as a stint with Cardiff City in the lower leagues of English football at the end of his career.
Personal life[]
Campbell's son Tyrese was also a footballer, who played for Stoke City.
Everton reported on 2 June 2024 that Campbell was currently "very unwell" in hospital. He died on 15 June, with Everton announcing: "Everyone at [the club] is deeply saddened by the death of our former striker Kevin Campbell at the age of just 54. Not just a true Goodison Park hero and icon of the English game, but an incredible person as well – as anyone who ever met him will know."
