The Indonesia national football team represents Indonesia in international association football and is controlled by the Football Association of Indonesia, the governing body for football in Indonesia. Indonesia's main home ground is Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, although the team also play their home matches occassionally on other venues across the country. Shin Tae-yong is the current head coach of the team.

Indonesia were the first Asian country to have qualified for the FIFA World Cup in 1938, where they played under the name of Dutch East Indies. However, the team was quickly eliminated on the first round after the 0–6 loss to Hungary. That match remains the only World Cup match that the Indonesian team have ever played.
