Koninklijke Atletiek Associatie Gent, commonly known simply as Gent, or Ghent in English, is a Belgian football, track and field and field hockey club based in the city of Ghent, East Flanders. They are currently members of the Belgian First Division A, the top tier of Belgian football. They host home games at the Ghelamco Arena, which has a capacity of 20,000.
The club was founded in 1864 as a gymnastics club and wasn't a football club until 36 years later in 1900. They are nicknamed "De Buffalo's" meaning "The Buffalos".
