Football Club Central Sports Club of the Army 1948 Sofia, more commonly known as CSKA 1948 Sofia or just CSKA 1948, is a Bulgarian professional football club from the capital city of Sofia, which currently competes in Bulgaria's top league, the Bulgarian First League. They play their home matches at the national stadium, the Vasil Levski National Stadium.
History
19 July 2016: Foundation
In June 2016 after the old company that represented PFC CSKA Sofia - PFC CSKA EAD - went bankrupt and a new one was formed from merging the firms of CSKA Sofia, Chavdar Etropole and Litex Lovech, several of the fans did not comply with this procedure and decided to found a new club of their own - FC CSKA 1948.
2016-present: Regional Amateur Football Groups
On 6 August 2016 the team was accepted in First Regional Group. The team announced partnership with Errea and a new crest close to CSKA Septemvriisko Zname.
In their first official match, they lose 1-15 from BM Sport.

Foreign players
Up to five non-EU nationals can be registered and given a squad number for the first team in the A PFG however only three can be used during a match day. Those non-EU nationals with European ancestry can claim citizenship from the nation their ancestors came from. If a player does not have European ancestry he can claim Bulgarian citizenship after playing in Bulgaria for 5 years.
