Diego Alves Carreira (born 24 June 1985), known as Diego Alves, is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Spanish club Valencia CF.

He won a bronze medal with Brazil at the 2008 Olympics, and made his senior debut in 2011, and has since gained 8 caps.

He is regarded as an expert penalty stopper, and has saved 16 out of 37 attempts in La Liga, equalling Andoni Zubizarreta, who saved 16 out of 102.
