Christos Shelis (Greek: Χρίστος Σιέλης; born 2 February 2000) is a Cypriot professional footballer who currently plays as a defender for Super League Greece side Panetolikos, and the Cyprus national team.
Shelis began his football career at English Premier League club Arsenal's youth academy in Greece. He then moved to London and joined the youth setup at Grimsby Town. In 2017, Shelis followed first-team manager Paul Hurst to Shrewsbury Town on Hurst's recommendation. He signed a professional contract with The Shrews later that year. In 2018, Shelis spent a short loan spell at non-league club Halesowen Town. In 2019, Shelis returned to his native Cyprus and signed for Cypriot First Division champions APOEL on a three-year deal.
Internationally, Shelis has represented Cyprus at under-17, under-19 and under-21 level. He earned his first senior cap in 2020 in a friendly against the Czech Republic.
