Club de Fútbol Monterrey, often known simply as Monterrey or their nickname Rayados, is a Mexican professional football club based in Monterrey, Nuevo León which currently plays in Liga MX, the top tier of Mexican football. Rayados earned their nickname, "Los Rayados," due to their distinctive navy blue striped uniform. The club's primary rival is Tigres UANL, and their highly anticipated local derby is referred to as the Clásico Regiomontano.
Established in 1945, Rayados stands as the oldest active professional team in the northern region of Mexico. Throughout their history, they have secured an impressive record of five league titles, three national cups, and five CONCACAF Champions League titles.
