Club Especializado de Alto Rendimiento El Nacional, known as Club Deportivo El Nacional or simply El Nacional, is an Ecuadorian professional sports club from the capital city of Quito. They are currently members of the Serie A, the top flight of Ecuadorian football.
The club have thirteen national championships and have participated in more Copa Libertadores tournaments than any other Ecuadorian club with 22 appearances.
The club currently play their home games at the Estadio Olímpico Atahualpa which has a capacity of 35,742.
