Benjamin Jacques Marcel Pavard (born 28 March 1996) is a French footballer who plays as a defender for Inter Milan and the France national team. Although usually deployed as a centre-back, he is also capable of playing as a right-back.

Pavard joined the local youth team US Jeumont at the age of 6. He joined Lille's academy at the age of nine. He made his Ligue 1 debut on 31 January 2015 against FC Nantes, playing the full game in a 1–1 away draw. After making the total of 25 appearances with Lille in two seasons, he left for German club VfB Stuttgart in 2016. During his time at Stuttgart, he helped the team to win promotion to the Bundesliga in his first season, finishing as champions of the 2016–17 2. Bundesliga.

In January 2019 he agreed a move to Bayern Munich, which was completed after Stuttgart's relegation at the end of the season. He won the treble in his first season with Bayern Munich. On 11 February 2021, Pavard scored Bayern's only goal in a 1–0 win against Tigres UANL in the 2020 FIFA Club World Cup Final, as the club won its sixth trophy in a year.

Pavard made his international debut in a friendly match against Wales on 10 November 2017. Pavard rose to prominence in 2018 after his performances with the France national team during 2018 FIFA World Cup, where he won the tournament with the team. His first international goal, a long range shot from outside the penalty area, in a rounds of 16 match against Argentina, was voted as Goal of the Tournament. He also won the 2020–21 UEFA Nations League with France and featured at the UEFA Euro 2020 campaign.
