Hendrikus Sebastian "Bas" Nijhuis is a Dutch football referee from Enschede.

He primarily referees Eredivisie matches, but has also been a FIFA listed referee since 2007, making him eligible to officiate international matches.

He began refereeing at the age of 15 after being inspired by his father who was also a referee. Nijhuis made his Eredivisie debut in March 2005, officiating a match between Heerenveen and RKC Waalwijk.
