AS Monaco v Paris Saint-Germain was a match which took place at Stade Louis-II on 1 March 2024.
Preview[]
AS Monaco come into the match after a strong victory over RC Lens. Monaco look to close their 13-point gap off the top spot, while sitting 2 points off second. Monaco will hope for a poor result at Brest to allow them to claim second in the table.
Paris Saint-Germain will look to keep their unbeaten streak - despite a poor 1-1 draw to Stade Rennais last week, they have not lost a game in Ligue 1 since September, their only loss this season.
Match report[]
It finishes goalless between Monaco and PSG. The hosts had the better of the first half, with Donnarumma called into action to keep out Balogun, Minamino, Ben Yedder and Akliouche with good stops. Ben Yedder also had the ball in the back of the net after rounding the keeper, but he just strayed offside, and the flag denied him. PSG came to life in the second half, with Majecki staying alert to protect his clean sheet by saving good efforts from Mukiele and Barcola. In the end, neither team had enough to find a breakthrough.
