Pre-season and friendlies[]

On 9 May, West Ham announced they would travel to Florida for the first time, as part of the inaugural Stateside Cup pre-season tournament, against Wolverhampton Wanderers and Crystal Palace. A further fixture, against Dagenham & Redbridge on 20 July, was announced on 28 May. In June, a home fixture versus Celta Vigo was confirmed. In July, West Ham United headed to Austria for a week-long training camp, which would conclude with a fixture against Ferencvárosi.
