Six days after being condemned for their performance in the derby stalemate at Old Trafford, Manchester City roared back from two goals down to beat Crystal Palace in a thrilling encounter at Etihad Stadium.

Caleb Okoli scored the equaliser as relegation-threatened Leicester City ended their eight-game losing streak and hurt Brighton's ambitions of qualifying for Europe with a hard-earned draw.

Abdoulaye Doucouré scored a dramatic 94th-minute winner as Everton dealt Nottingham Forest's Champions League hopes a huge blow with victory at the City Ground.

Aston Villa boosted their hopes of securing a second consecutive season of Champions League football with victory over already-relegated Southampton – despite Marco Asensio missing two second-half penalties for the visitors.

Yoane Wissa scored late in the second half as Brentford and Arsenal played out a drab draw that leaves the second-placed Gunners 10 points behind Premier League leaders Liverpool.

Chelsea's hopes of qualifying for the Champions League were dented with the Blues held to a 2-2 draw against Ipswich at Stamford Bridge.

Liverpool moved to potentially one win from the Premier League title as captain Virgil van Dijk's late header helped them beat West Ham United at Anfield.

Wolverhampton Wanderers moved closer to Premier League safety and heaped more misery on Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou with victory at Molineux.

Newcastle United strengthened their push for a Champions League spot in the absence of unwell boss Eddie Howe with a crushing win over Manchester United at St James' Park.

Antoine Semenyo's goal after just 53 seconds was enough for Bournemouth to beat Fulham and claim their first Premier League victory in almost two months.

Newcastle United roared to third place in the Premier League - and closer to Champions League qualification - with a crushing victory over Crystal Palace at St James' Park.
