Dennis Cirkin scored an 89th-minute equaliser as Sunderland preserved their unbeaten home record with a draw against Watford.
In a grandstand finale at The Hawthorns, Jayson Molumby snatched a 96th-minute winner for West Bromwich Albion to deny Sheffield Wednesday a last-gasp point.
Substitute Jerry Yates slotted home an injury-time penalty to end beleaguered Derby County's miserable seven-match Championship losing streak and prevent Norwich City from moving into the play-off places.
Sheffield United edged past strugglers Portsmouth despite an unconvincing display to move back into the Championship automatic promotion places.
Swansea City ripped up the Championship form book as Josh Tymon's goal gave them a 1-0 win against play-off-chasing Bristol City at Ashton Gate.
