The 2021–22 season is Tottenham Hotspur's 30th season in the Premier League and 44th successive season in the top division of the English football league system. After finishing in seventh place in the 2020–21 season, Tottenham qualified for the newly formed Europa Conference League at the play-off round. At the end of June, Tottenham announced Nuno Espírito Santo as the new head coach on a two-year contract.Tottenham announced on 1 November 2021 that they had removed Nuno Santo along with his coaching staff Ian Cathro, Rui Barbosa and Antonio Dias stating they had "been relieved of their duties." Antonio Conte was appointed as Santo's successor the following day.

Pre-season friendlies[]

Tottenham have scheduled two friendlies, the first against Leyton Orient in memory of Justin Edinburgh for the JE3 Foundation Trophy. Followed by a friendly away to Milton Keynes Dons. Spurs announced the club would come together with both Arsenal and Chelsea to support mental health in The Mind Series in August 2021.
