The 2020–21 Preston North End F.C. season was the club's 141th season in existence and their sixth consecutive season in the Championship. They also took part in the FA Cup and the EFL Cup. The season covered the period from July 2020 to 30 June 2021.

The season saw the club finish 13th in the Championship with 61 points, scoring 49 and conceding 56. They managed to reach the third round of the FA Cup and EFL Cup.

Manager Alex Neil was sacked on 21 March with his assistant Frankie McAvoy taking charge for the remainder of the season.

Winger Scott Sinclair finished as the club's top scorer (league and overall) with 7 goals.
