Everton stretched their unbeaten run to five games as a 3-1 victory over out-of-form Crystal Palace moved them up to seventh in the Premier League.

Watford boss Nigel Pearson admitted his side had "missed an opportunity" to get a vital victory and move out of the relegation zone as Adrian Mariappa's own goal gifted Brighton a draw.

Sheffield United moved up to fifth in the Premier League after fighting back to earn a dramatic win over Bournemouth in blustery conditions at Bramall Lane.

Manchester City's home Premier League game against West Ham has been postponed because of Storm Ciara.
