Pre-match[]

Exeter City were allocated 20,000 tickets for the match. Blackpool supporters were allocated the east end of Wembley Stadium. Due to an on-going dispute with Blackpool owner, Owen Oyston and his family, Blackpool Supporters' Trust called on the club to donate its share of its gate receipts to charity so they could attend the match without their money going towards the Oyston family.
